As a blogger, I’m lucky enough to have tried just about every beauty brand on the market. I’ve used some of the most expensive luxury products in the world, as well as super affordable drugstore staples. Let’s just say, I’ve done the legwork in finding which items are really worth the hype and price tags. One skincare product that often seems to fall short in terms of worth and performance, is SPF moisturizer. SPF is so important for maintaining healthy skin (especially living in LA), and I spent years using overpriced creams thinking they were more effective. On top of having questionable results, many moisturizers with SPF were overly greasy and difficult to layer makeup over.
You guys know how much I love Olay Whips, so I was super excited to try their new version with SPF 25. While I don’t always like multitasking products because they can clog pores during the warmer months, I already knew that Olay Whips was so lightweight and non-greasy that I had to give it a shot. And I’m already loving the results! This SPF has the same light and airy texture as the regular Olay Whips, and has the same Active Rush technology, which releases 1000 times its weight in hydration. This technology allows it to be super hydrating without the heavy, greasy feel. My skin drinks it right up in the mornings after cleansing, so I can add makeup shortly after without it sliding off. I must say it’s a great primer for foundation too!
The best part of it all? It’s one of the more affordable SPF moisturizers I’ve tried, at less than $40 a jar – and a little bit goes a long way. Trust me, you don’t have to buy the $100 SPF moisturizers just to be disappointed. You guys have to try it and tell me what you think! Grab yours, here.
