#ad When we moved back to England, the first thing we did was buy a #NationalTrust membership. I actually couldn’t wait - to tour all the beautifully preserved stately homes (pretending they were mine of course), legendary castles and jaw-dropping gardens - and to watch Honor run around them too. We are so lucky to have a charity that painstakingly restores the love and life back into historical places, that may well have otherwise faced disrepair or worse, a bulldozer. This year is @NationalTrust’s 125th Anniversary, and to celebrate they held a virtual tea party, if you missed it you can swipe on my stories to see Prince Charles address. We also joined the festivities and had our own teddy bear’s picnic in the garden, and toasted to the wonderful people who keep such a special organisation going (my favourite, happens to be a 90-something volunteer at Hughenden Manor, who remembers every juicy detail of the house and has volunteered there for over 50 years!) #NationalTrust

My buddy, my bambina, every day we hit the mean st

My buddy, my bambina, every day we hit the mean streets and go for a long walk, learn new flower names and find wiggly worms. She’s running so fast now, I actually have to race to keep up, and she has the same cheeky cackle she’s had since she was tiny. It’s not just a cliché that little ones grow up and change before your very eyes, and I’m grateful I am not missing a second of it right now.
