How will you be celebrating Mother’s Day this year? We will be spending it with our families at home and the girls and I can’t wait to host a beautiful lunch to celebrate all the mothers in our family.
The theme I picked for my tablescape is ‘Chic in Pink’. Now that long winter days are finally behind us, I wanted to really celebrate spring with vibrant colours and a dreamy atmosphere. And what’s better than an embroidered dusty pink tablecloth as a backdrop to such a setting? I also picked my favourite plates with little grapes handpainted on the rim to match the embroidery.
To finish off the table, a lovely hyacinth plant – the girls and I love it – for a splash of bright green.
I will be serving a fresh and delicious elderflower gin cocktail – one of my faves and an absolute hit at our wedding. Time to make our drinks and enjoy!
