It’s official- the vest comeback has begun. A great little layer over a pretty blouse, they are the perfect transitional piece between the seasons. My collection is growing and growing. This one is Loretta Caponi and I love the red and white mixed with the camel coat (my birthday pressie) and my most-loved cognac suede Stuart Weitzman boots…I’m very into a wider-ankled boot under a cropped jean. Lots of the vests I’ve chosen below are cream or off-white; so easy to wear for that little extra layer of warmth…an essential this winter. If you feel like going a little bolder then there are some colourful ones there too; great over a white shirt and under a big coat.
This is true Werther’s Original vibes (if you get that reference you’re as old as me, otherwise, Google the sweet old advert!) I love the mix of colours and hand-knitted feel, just like Grandpa used to wear…
