The Wardrobe Staple That Never Fails: Camel Coats

I’ve spoken a great deal about camel coats on my blog, and for good reason. I never tire of them, and each time Fall rolls around I always find myself breaking them out of my closet without fail. They are so versatile, and I always find new ways to wear them depending on what the trends are that particular season. If you follow me on Instagram, you’ll know that Mackenzie and I recently spent a few weeks in New York for Fashion Week, but we also went on a roadtrip through the gorgeous countrysides of Vermont and Connecticut. It’s something we’ve always wanted to do, and it was the perfect time to do so as weather was becoming chilly and the leaves were starting to turn golden.

As you might’ve seen on my Stories, I was outgrowing my clothing even over the few short weeks that I was in New York! My belly is constantly changing, so I actually had to drop into Zara to buy a few emergency backups. Luckily, this gorgeous coat was there as well so I had to snatch it up for our roadtrip. It ended up looking so elegant and perfect for the Fall countryside. This time of year is my absolute favorite, as I could still wear a comfy stretch knit dress under my coat, without being too cold.
