My Favourite Colour-Block Knits

I have a slight obsession with jumpers and jerseys; cashmere, wool, polo necks, oversized knits and cardigans…the cosier the better. Colour blocking is such a fun way of wearing lots of colour at once so I’ve linked some of my favourite colour-block knits below. I paired my red and pink striped wool and cashmere sweater with some wool twill trousers (so warm) in a similar berry colour. An outfit centred around a particular colour is smarter than your everyday outfit as it looks well thought out, but a good colour-block jumper or jacket breaks it up so you’re not dressed entirely in one shade.

I like having a couple of abstract style pieces in my wardrobe and wearing colourful clothing has been proven to improve both mood and self-esteem. That being said, colour blocking with greys, whites and camel tones can also look very chic. Choose colours that you know work well with your colouring and keep other outfit components (including accessories) simple. Shop some of my faves below and see if you notice a spring in your step.
