Chic and Classic Footwear

Created in partnership with Tod’s and Shopstyle.

At this time of year I find myself running around endlessly. Meetings, work trips, Mummy duties and house renovations take up a lot of time, and that’s before I’ve even thought about Christmas! My daily uniform used to include a pair of killer heels but I find I just can’t do a whole day on my feet unless I’m in casual flats. Anyone else’s feet choosing flats over stilettos these days?! So my current go-to is a very chic pair of loafers by Tod’s. They’re the ultimate in chic Italian footwear.

Tod’s have long been a brand that is known for classic style and high-quality leather shoes…but their new Resort 2020 collection is really modern. All their shoes are hand-crafted using traditional techniques (I love a brand that really sticks to its roots) and these iconic shoes are instantly recognisable as being the best of the best. Trends come and go but comfort is always key and these loafers are amazing. As if a trusty shoe wasn’t essential enough they also make the most gorgeous accessories and so when I purchased my new shoes I had to get one of their leather bags as well. Their bags come in various sizes and colours- a cool white crossbody for evenings out and this amazing D shopping bag holds everything.

The craftsmanship of Tod’s products is stunning and the T (which features throughout the collection) stands for Tradition, Talent and Time.

  • I did my hair & makeup for the duration of a Peppa Pig episode... ie. about 6 minutes!
Watch to the end to see Honor all snuggled up behind me 💕
I’ll upload the products I used to my stories later today- right now I have to go digging with a toddler on the doorstep 👷🏻‍♀️

  • #ad We must focus on finding the positives where we can at the moment and for me, part of that’s wearing bright colours around the house. Wearing colour has been proven to help lift your mood so I’m stocking up on comfy home clothes in bold colours and pretty printed wrap dresses. This sunny yellow and leopard combo is from @walmart shot a couple of weeks ago in Notting Hill. How are you staying positive this week? #WalmartFashion http://liketk.it/2MdDt @liketoknow.it #liketkit

Also I have misophonia (except when it’s my daughter eating, then it doesn’t bother me at all!) so apologies if the sound on this vid makes your toes curl 😂😂🙈 🧁

So I thought I’d read it out.
Should I do more? Which short stories do you love - both for children and adults? 📚

  • Back when the sun was shining and we were out and about in beautiful Notting Hill wearing @mywardrobe_hq
Being at home so much has got me thinking about ways in which I can be more sustainable with my fashion choices. Choosing ethical brands and renting pieces is a good way to start. In such a strange time, I’m focusing on the positives where I can. Let’s hope it won’t be long before we can all be out in the sun again ☀️

  • Our street created a text group, and reached out to all our elderly neighbours with a note offering to help. Some of them we knew, some we didn’t. Some of them are now needing groceries, dog walking, and it got me thinking about how to make them less lonely, should they be feeling that way too. Here’s the care package we’re making... just in case you want to do something similar. We’ve got to take care of the Grannies & Grandpas, the way they once took care of us.
