It’s almost New Years Eve, can you believe it? 2016 was a crazed but amazing year for me – I got engaged to my best friend, married just 9 months later, and bought a new home! I feel so blessed to have had such a wonderful year – it’s definitely time to celebrate. For New Years Eve I’ll be in England with my best friends and family, and wanted to do a really fun makeup look to go with my party dress. You have to try these easy glitter eyes!
Shop The Look:
This look is quite simple to do, and is really just an updated version of your everyday eyeshadow & eyeliner combo. Make sure your skin is well moisturized before beginning – the glitter will tend to just fall off extra dry skin. Put your primer & foundation on first, and don’t forget to prime your eyelid area as well (I love this Urban Decay primer). I just recently discovered this Natural Palette by Too Faced through another blogger and am obsessed with it. It has every color you need for basic eyes and is a great size for being on the go. Start by brushing the “Honey Pot” color all over your lid as a base. Next, put on your lashes and liquid eyeliner (a sharp cat eye goes perfectly with this look). The glitter will go on last – take a small eyeshadow brush and press MAC gold glitter on the outer corner of the eye and onto the top of the cheek bone. You can also add glitter in the inner corner of the eye and on top of your lids for some extra sparkle. Voilá! What do you guys think?
