One of my favorite trends for winter is the faux shearling jacket, and it’s not too late to grab one! This is a staple piece that will live in your closet for years and years. They’re perfect if you live in a cold climate, but even us LA peeps need to have one stashed in the back of our closet for those rare cold days, ski trips, or holiday trips (I always make sure to pack mine when I go home to London). They can be a bit bulky so I tend to wear mine on the plane with me, which I actually love as I always get cold on flights and they’re so cozy and comfy.
Shearling jackets go perfectly with a simple look – usually just a top, jeans and booties will do. If you wanted to give your winter date night look a little edge, rock one over an LBD, tights and thigh high boots. They also never go out of style – it seems like they’re going strong every season, so if you find the right one you can feel good about splurging on it.
