Paris Fashion Week: Streetstyle

I took a quick trip to Paris for Fashion Week with FWRD a couple weeks ago, and I fall a little more in love with the city each time I go. It’s always abuzz with throngs of fashionable people, jetting about on their way to shows and parties with other fabulous industry peeps. It was my pleasure to join the FWRD family and get a sneak peek at some of their new projects, and to be able to hang with Elyse Walker, who is a superwoman in the fashion biz, doing it all!

When I got back to LA I was in such a Parisian mood, I carried on rocking the French streetstyle to meetings and dinners all week. I love this bomber jacket because the exaggerated shoulders add some structure and modern elegance to the look, which matched the more ladylike feel of this sexy cutout jumpsuit and super high-heels (rather than a traditional bomber, which I would probably wear with sneakers to give it more of an urban-weekend look). I wanted to give this all-black outfit a pop: so I added a leopard crossbody and bold red lip (found in a last-minute rush at a pharmacy in Paris!), which helped give me a bit of that Parisian girl attitude. This whole look is ideal for cocktails, date night, or even a business meeting… nothing like a good set of “power shoulders” to make you feel confident!
