It’s so crazy to think about how fast the New Year is approaching. 2015 has been such an adventure, and I can’t wait to see what 2016 holds for Front Roe! Thank you so much for following along on this ride, I absolutely adore my readers and cherish every one of your comments on my blog, Instagram & Facebook.
To ring in the New Year the right way, I have a fun idea for you to try on 31st. My good friend and talented artist Gray Malin created these adorable Carry On Cocktail Kits that add a fun kick to a long flight by giving you the supplies needed to create on-board sprinkle-rimmed cocktails. With New Year’s Eve coming up, I was inspired to make them for my whole party!
They’re so simple to make, and you can do them ahead of time before your guests arrive. Simply take empty champagne flutes, rim the glasses with lemon, and twist them upside down in a plate of sprinkles. Make sure to line the glasses with enough lemon juice so that they grab up enough sprinkles, but not so much that it drips.
And top tip: when your guests arrive, use a funnel to carefully pour in your favorite champagne to each glass – if you get the sprinkles wet, they’ll dissolve and fall off. All you’ll need to top it off is some great music and a chic dress. Have fun!
