The New Skirt Shape & How To Wear It!

There’s a new skirt shape in town, and it’s so ladylike and elegant! I’ve seen the peplum skirt, or the cropped mermaid as I like to call it, on the red carpet at major events like the Oscars, where stars wear long, floor-skimming gowns in the very same shape. So to see it on the runways this season on everyday skirts, is really cool. Translating the silhouette from a formal, sparkly gown, into a more relaxed street style look, is fun. Basically, it’s a slim line of a skirt that flares out with a ruffle just below your knees. Wear yours with a heel: the extra height of keeps the volume from being overwhelming, and streamlines your legs. I through on a simple cream sweater and neutrals accessories for a more relaxed, daytime feel.

Lol at your last sentence, the verb misspelled.
    Anyway, lovely elegance, relaxed poshness.
