At this point, I’ve probably written a whole book about bronzer on my blog. I really do love it that much! In my opinion, it adds so much life to your complexion, regardless of the time of year or even the occasion. In summer, I love to mix in a little bit of liquid bronzer with my foundation or highlighter, and just add a touch of mascara for a super natural, sunkissed look. In the winter when I’m lacking vitamin D, I use a lighter foundation, and dust a bit of bronzer over the areas of my face that catch light (cheekbones, nose, chin, etc). One product that I was recently introduced to by my makeup artist is perfect for contouring and adding a natural glow to your complexion anytime of year, and is so easy to use – spray bronzer. If you feel a bit intimidated by contouring kits, spray bronzer is the way to go.
To achieve an instantly warm and lightly contoured look, spray a bit of bronzer on the back of your hand and apply to cheeks, forehead, tip of the nose and chin, using a dual fiber brush (I love the Mac #188 brush). Then, apply a shimmery blush to the apple of the cheek and highlight the tops of the cheek bones and bridge of the nose. This can be done over foundation, or even just over some primer or B.B cream for a more natural makeup look. Shop the products I use for a quick 5 minute glow, below!
