I love the cool and breezy holiday vibe that natural materials like raffia, jute and bamboo give off, which is perfect for exploring abroad and home relaxing alike. The woven material can be worked into outfits in hundreds of ways- as an elegant sunhat on the beach or as a clutch to brunch in the city; as hairbands, earrings, belts and baskets. Every year, designers and high street stores reinvent the textured style, fusing a go-to material with modern designs to create some of the season’s hottest accessories.
If you’re looking for a statement accessory- this is where to look. Raffia packs a real punch so don’t over do it. Less is definitely more so just choose one or two pieces to complement a simple outfit like a colorful jumpsuit (see my current fave jumpsuit here) or a white linen dress.
