Refreshing Citrus Punch

I’m trying to get as much Vitamin C as possible at the moment to ward off illness and this refreshing citrus punch by my friend Nathan Turner is yummy. Make a jug of this at lunch and it will feel like an afternoon in mid-Summer. Actually, if this weather continues over Easter then it really will! I often keep a jug on my desk once I’ve had my Earl Grey fix; it keeps me hydrated throughout the day and tastes like a cocktail. Delicious and looks really pretty too. I’ll be making this all the way through quarantine to keep our immune systems in check.

You will need:

-2 litres freshly squeezed orange juice

-2 litres freshly squeezed grapefruit juice

-2 cups freshly squeezed lemon juice

-1/2 cup agave syrup

-1 litre sparkling water

-2 lemons, thinly sliced

-2 small red grapefruit, thinly sliced

-2 oranges or tangerines, thinly sliced

-ice

Instructions:

Chill all the ingredients. In a bowl or jug combine the orange juice, grapefruit juice, lemon juice and agave. Stir well to dissolve the syrup. Top up with sparkling water and garnish with the sliced fruit. Stir every now and then and serve over ice. Yum- a tasty and refreshing citrus punch.
