A Bold New Work Look: The Power Suit

I’ve written about power suits on the blog before, and how empowering it feels to put one on – especially when it’s in a bold color like red. While it may seem like an intimidating outfit, it’s appropriate for more occasions than you may think. Though attention-grabbing, the right bold power suit can be extremely classy, and fill you with all the confidence you need to do anything from rock your presentation at work, to going out on a blind date, or even nailing an interview.

This year, power suits are coming in all kinds of cool colors, from pastels to neons, and everything in between. And having just been to New York Fashion Week and seeing how colorful this year’s palette is going to be in general, I’d say it’s the perfect time to invest in a daring shade that you might not have gone for in the past. I recently wore this bright red suit to the Kelly & Ryan show following the Oscars, and I got so many questions from you guys about it that I decided to round up all of my favorite bold power suits for you to shop. Check them out below, and tell me which color is your favorite in the comments!
