Family Friendly Winter Activities

Winter is in full swing, but it doesn’t mean you have to hide away all season long. There are tons of ways to have fun with the family this Winter, from cozy indoor snuggles to adventurous outdoor activities. Read on for some ideas for keeping everyone in the family entertained all season long!

1. Head to the countryside.
Winter is the perfect time to escape from the busy city, so look into what farms, orchards, and parks might be located just outside your city limits. Over the holidays we took Honor to ride ponies for the first time just outside of bustling London, and the memories we made together are sure to last a lifetime. There are so many places to explore just beyond your town – just be sure to bundle up in heavy overcoats, scarves, and boots!

2. Hot chocolate is always the answer.
Whether you’re playing in the snow or venturing out to run errands, hot chocolate is always the perfect excuse to retreat indoors. Head to your local pub or cafe for a fireside warmup with your loved ones.

3. Take advantage of seasonal entertainment.
One of my favorite Winter past times is ice skating, and even if you live in warmer climates like LA, you’re sure to find a seasonal rink to play around at. Check out what local winter activities your town has going on – they’re sure to be a good time, whether it’s a sleigh ride or bonfire. Time to break out the s’mores!

What are some of your favorite Winter activities to keep yourself and your family entertained when the weather is frightful? Tell me below!

  • I’ve got a red carpet tonight and the LG Styler has totally saved my life. This dress was straight out of the box this morning and I’ve got no time to dry clean but a ‘light refresh’ on the Styler and it’s pristine.. It’s quiet, energy-conscious and will make all my favourite things last longer (including Honor’s cuddly toys!) from the comfort of home. How cool is that?! #CareForWhatYouWear #ad @lg_uk
  • Sunday morning 🥐 with my favorite person ♥️
  • Thanks for all the advice on my dead house plant! He was by the radiator 🙈🤢🌱 Going to try and resuscitate him overnight.

But I do love these jeans!
