Why I’m Loving Lab-Grown Diamonds

If you guys follow me on Instagram, you might’ve seen me post about Lightbox Jewelry around the holidays. They’re a really cool company that creates lab-grown diamonds that are not only gorgeous – but super affordable. I fell in love with their collection of delicate white, baby blue, and soft pink gems on platinum or rose gold chains – so much that I just had to gift some of their pretty jewelry to a few of the ladies in my life for Christmas. Now that Valentine’s Day is around the corner I wanted to tell you guys more about them and how you can shop them right now in LA.

This weekend I hosted a fun event celebrating the opening of the Lightbox Jewelry pop-up store at Westfield Century City mall. Did you catch my baby swap with my blogger babe Sivan on stories?? It was such a beautiful event, and we had a great time trying on so much pretty jewelry and learning more about the brand.

So what does lab-grown mean exactly? Instead of mining diamonds from the earth, Lightbox uses science to grow their gems, making them much more affordable than traditional diamonds. And since they have their own team of scientists who create them in a lab, they can experiment with all kinds of cool colors that you wouldn’t normally find in nature. My top pick for a Valentine’s Day gift would definitely be one of their pink pendants!

If you’re in need of a last minute Valentine’s Day gift, make sure to swing by their pop up shop happening right now until February 14th at Westfield Century City. Cheers to sparkles!

  1. Your fun event was such a beautiful event, i liked all jewelry items……..Really great event ever

  2. Your choice is great as mine! (hehe) I am very freak at collection white aka colorless diamonds. It would be better fit for a classic yellow gold engagement ring!
