Luxe Holiday Gifts For Her (& Yourself!)

The holidays are nearly upon us, so I’m already starting to think about gifts for all of the loved ones in my life. This is my favorite time of year and my first time going through it as a Mrs, so I’m really getting in the spirit – baking pumpkin bread for Mackenzie, decorating our house, and planning to host get togethers with family and friends.

We’ll also be traveling back to England for Christmas and New Years as always, but it will feel so much more special this time returning as husband and wife. I felt so blown away by all of the amazing women in my life leading up to and during our wedding – my mother was so amazing, and my bridesmaids couldn’t have been more supportive. I definitely wanted to do something special for them this holiday season, so I’ve been thinking about some luxe holiday gift ideas that would really show my appreciation.

LAGOS is a fine jewelry designer that creates timeless pieces for every generation of women. I love the chunky, mixed material look of the pieces, sprinkled with gorgeous diamonds. They have several different collections that suit different styles and tastes, as well as different occasions – the Nightfall collection for moody, romantic nights and holiday parties; the 18K Gold collection for the yellow gold lover like myself; and even the classic Diamonds collection for anyone at all (a great option if you’re not sure whether someone prefers gold or silver toned jewelry, as many of the pieces are mixed metal). The pieces can all be mixed and matched and layered together, and you can even have pieces engraved, making personalization for the holidays a breeze.

Many times I love giving gifts even more than receiving them, but every so often during the holidays I make sure to throw in a gift for myself as well. We women work so hard and play so many different roles in our lives – we deserve to treat ourselves during the holidays too! I’m a huge fan of stacked yellow gold jewelry, and am starting to play around with chunky silver toned pieces as well. I love that these pieces can be mixed together, creating such cool looks from day to night this holiday season. Shop all these pieces at LAGOS!

  • Last night was so different to any other Hollywood event I’ve ever attended. Powerful, awesome women came together to celebrate the work that has been done since the #MeToo movement began. Yes there’s still a long way to go, but last night left me with food for thought and a sense of hope. It made me more determined than ever that my daughter and her peers grow up in a world that respects and values women as an equal sex. During a stunning, candlelit dinner, there were readings of letters, poems and articles on stage by the likes of Charlize Theron, Anna Kendrick, Tiffany Haddish, Amber Heard and Annie Lennox. Being informed is important, but sharing that information and keeping the conversation going, is crucial.
