Christmas is just around the corner, and if you’re hosting a get together with family and friends – I have a cute idea for you to try! You guys know that I’m a huge fan of bar carts (see my tips on how to style one here), but I wanted to transform mine with a holiday twist this year. I created a hot chocolate and coffee bar, so that guests can customize their own drinks with yummy things like candy canes, chocolate, and marshmallows. It’s a kid-friendly bar cart that is interactive and fun. I even decorated mine with Christmas lights and ornaments to really set the festive mood.
Supplies Needed:
-A chic bar cart, of course!
-An assortment of coffee & hot chocolate (there are so many different flavors of hot chocolate to choose from – provide 2-3 options for guests)
-A variety of garnishes: I went with candy canes, peppermint candies, fresh cinnamon, marshmallows, and peppermint stirrers
-An assortment of mugs
-Yummy nibbles to pair with the drinks – shortbread cookies are always a great holiday treat
-Cute serving plates and bowls
-Christmas decorations like lights and ornaments for cozy accents
There’s no wrong way to style your cart, but I like to make sure that the surface is packed full of items to create a much cozier look. Happy Holidays!
