The NYFW Trends To Start Wearing Now

It’s officially Fashion Month, and we just got to see all the new trends grace the runways at New York Fashion Week. This is always such an exciting time of the year for me, right when the seasons start to turn and when we get to take a peek at what’s around the corner for the fashion industry. I noticed so many trends that I’m super excited to wear – not only because they’re so chic, but also because they’re already so accessible to wear right now. You guys know how much I love eBay for sourcing fashion and home steals, so it should be no surprise that they’re my go-to once again for staying ahead of all the new trends. In this look I’m highlighting some of my favorite trends from NYFW, and showing you guys some of my favorite picks from eBay’s End of Season sale. These items are new and available to buy now, so you won’t have to wait to start rocking them ahead of the new season. Happy shopping!

Tweed Jackets
Tweed jackets and blazers are making a comeback, and look great styled casually or for work. Stock up on them in all colors and textures this season.

Circle Bags
Circle bags have been popular for a few seasons now in summery textures like straw, and they’ll continue to be popular but in richer materials like leather and velvet.

Silk Camisoles
A classic silk cami is always a must in your wardrobe, but this season it’s time to stock up on different colors like emerald and navy, or ones with lace accents and deep-v silhouettes. They’re perfect throughout the year styled with your favorite jeans.

Slingback Kitten Heels
Trade out your sky high stilettos for a comfier kitten heel this season, even better if it’s a slingback! These easily go from work to play and are bound to stay in your wardrobe for years to come.

High Waisted Jeans
Vintage inspired, high-waisted jeans aren’t going anywhere guys! At eBay you can get genuine vintage Levi’s for a crazy steal. These go with anything from simple tees to sexy camis.

  • Mackenzie and I used to spend so long dilly-dallying over what to watch, it would be time for bed before we even started a movie. More than ever right now, we need escapism, and looking forward to your evening in, is part of that! Here’s what we've been watching (& eating and drinking and wearing too…) every evening on @skytv (which has Netflix & box sets on it too). 🍿🍷🍫 #ad
  • I did my hair & makeup for the duration of a Peppa Pig episode... ie. about 6 minutes!
Watch to the end to see Honor all snuggled up behind me 💕
I’ll upload the products I used to my stories later today- right now I have to go digging with a toddler on the doorstep 👷🏻‍♀️

Suggestions very welcome 📚
  • #ad We must focus on finding the positives where we can at the moment and for me, part of that’s wearing bright colours around the house. Wearing colour has been proven to help lift your mood so I’m stocking up on comfy home clothes in bold colours and pretty printed wrap dresses. This sunny yellow and leopard combo is from @walmart shot a couple of weeks ago in Notting Hill. How are you staying positive this week? #WalmartFashion http://liketk.it/2MdDt @liketoknow.it #liketkit

Also I have misophonia (except when it’s my daughter eating, then it doesn’t bother me at all!) so apologies if the sound on this vid makes your toes curl 😂😂🙈 🧁

  • This is why I ♥️ my husband 🤣
An homage to leotard dancer dude (watch til the end to see the talented original! And if you know who he is please tag him, he’s my hero)
  • of what I should and shouldn’t post, are out the window. I want to make you guys smile, if I can. Winnie the Pooh (this story in particular) is Honor’s favourite - and whether you’re a kid or a grown up, everybody loves Pooh.
So I thought I’d read it out.
Should I do more? Which short stories do you love - both for children and adults? 📚

Being at home so much has got me thinking about ways in which I can be more sustainable with my fashion choices. Choosing ethical brands and renting pieces is a good way to start. In such a strange time, I’m focusing on the positives where I can. Let’s hope it won’t be long before we can all be out in the sun again ☀️
