And just like that, another Oscars has come and gone! If you guys were following along on my stories yesterday, you got to see tons of behind the scenes footage of me getting ready, walking the red carpet, and hosting with Access Hollywood. It’s always so much fun to choose my awards show looks, especially the final touch: the bling! This year I got to wear Gemfields rubies once again, and I felt like a princess sporting some of the biggest, most beautiful rubies I’ve ever seen.
I’ve always loved colorful gemstones – to me they are so fun to pair with a contrasting color to create an unexpected red carpet look. This year, I choose these gorgeous rings by Fabergé and earrings by Nulifer (with stunning Gemfields rubies) to go with my white and blue gown from Monique Lhuillier. I loved this color combination, and the rubies made a statement without being too overpowering. I noticed stars on the red carpet wearing rubies as well – can we please talk about that insane choker worn by Lindsey Vonn?! They’re a classic stone that withstands the test of time, and they look stunning with almost any color and skin tone. I always love wearing Gemfields stones because they’re mined responsibly and ethically, so you don’t have to worry about where they came from. That is always very important to me anytime I look for diamonds or precious stones of any kind. What do you guys think of my Oscars red carpet look? Tell me in the comments!
xx,
So beautiful!
Rubies are so beautiful and I love how you went for a red gemstone to compliment your blue dress!

Looking like a barbie doll. My younger brother’s birth stone is “Ruby” and he looked at your Oscars look and he was so happy that you choose ruby. <3
