Hey guys, today I’m sharing with you my ultimate summertime drink, brought to us by my gorgeous friend Sivan Ayla: frozen rosé, or frozé as we like to call it. This recipe is super simple (which is always a plus for me!), seriously refreshing, and highly Instagramable – what more could you want?! It’s great for all your Summer occasions – from BBQ’s, pool days, bridal showers, or even just a day with your besties. Plus, it’s really easy to make in large batches – sign me up! I’m a major rosé fan so I can’t believe I’ve never tried frozé before, but I’m certain that it’s going to be a Summer-staple in my house from now on. Hope you guys enjoy it and make sure to share with us your boomerang shots of this fab recipe.
Frozé Recipe
Ingredients (to fill 2 large glasses):
1 bottle of rosé + extra for topping off
Simple syrup, or alternative sweetener such as agave
Strawberries, fresh mint sprigs and straws to serve
Directions:
Freeze 1 (inexpensive) bottle of rosé in a freezer-safe container overnight.
Remove the frozen rosé from the freezer about 15 minutes before serving, to allow it to soften slightly.
Scrape it out with a spoon and scoop it into serving glasses.
Add a splash of simple syrup, or alternative sweetener.
Top up your glass with rosé (this is the time to use a nicer wine).
Decorate with sliced strawberries, fresh mint and a straw.
Add more sweetener to taste if needed.
Enjoy immediately!
