Happy Christmas Eve everyone! I’m back in the UK for the holidays with my family (where it’s so cold and Christmasy, I love it!), but I wanted to share this fun Christmas table setting that I made last week when I was home. We had just moved in to our new house and I wanted to throw a little Christmas shindig with my LA friends before I left town. I picked up all these pieces from Pottery Barn – make sure to keep an eye out for when they go on sale after Christmas. One of my top shopping tips is to always shop for seasonal items after the fact – they go on major sale and you can save loads for the following year!
I wanted to go for bright, cheery red and gold. To add some earthy accents I just had to add some peppermint scented pine cones, a string-lit garland, and these awesome antler napkin holders. One of my favorite table setting trends at the moment is to fold the napkin in thirds and let it drape lengthwise off the table. Put it between two plates or even under a loaf of bread to keep it in place. We did this at our wedding and loved the look!
It wouldn’t be Christmas without English crackers – not the kind you eat, but the traditional paper tubes that make a “crack” sound when you open then, usually containing a paper crown, toy or gift and festive joke inside. I thought they made a super cute adornment to each place setting!

xx,
This is so pretty! Would have loved to spend the evening around this table 🙂
