Now that I’ve wrapped up my Holiday shopping, I’m excited to continue my partnership with T.J.Maxx, Marshalls & HomeGoods to show you guys how I’m decorating for the season! We’ve just purchased a new home, and while we’re still moving in furniture and doing some final renovations I couldn’t resist getting a little festive with some fun decorations from the stores. Even though some of the rooms are still empty, having decorative wreaths, stockings, and presents under a tree just makes it feel so much more like home!
Since we’ll be in the UK over Christmas, I went for this fancy little faux tree (for an amazing price from T.J.Maxx, score!), so that I didn’t have to worry about caring for it while we were gone. While I do still love the tradition of a real tree, faux trees are a huge trend at the moment for holiday decorating, as they’re such a great time saver. This one came pre-lit, but the great part about them is that once you string on your lights, you can leave them on until the following year.
To complement my tree, I got some pretty accessories from HomeGoods, including wreaths for both the front and back doors. The weather in LA stays pretty warm through the holidays, so to make it feel more like Christmas I think it’s so fun to have these festive accents. I also got some great themed throw pillows and scented candles to promote a warm holiday feel around the house.
I couldn’t pass on these cute stockings from Marshalls. Growing up, my sisters and I each had our own embroidered stockings with our initials on them, and I have so many fond memories of us running down to the living room early Christmas morning and opening up our gifts together. I even got a few of these cozy pajama onesies as gifts for my nieces and nephews (and just had to get one for myself too, so comfy at Christmas in England!). What are some of your favorite holiday decorating traditions? Tell me in the comments below, and happy holidays!
xx,
