I’m so excited to finally be showing you guys all of the fun shoots I got to do on my recent trip to Europe! One of the stops was a good friend’s wedding in the charming town of Avignon, France. This Medieval village was so mysterious and quaint – on our way to the wedding I just had to take advantage of the beautiful setting and snap some pics. The weather was warm and gorgeous out, so I couldn’t wait to wear this sky blue strapless dress by Ferragamo from Armarium (check out this site, they lend out designer clothes!). When you’re attending a summer wedding, especially outdoors, you always want to go for something that is breathable and lightweight without being too casual. I love that the cut of this gown is elegant and tiered, but the cotton material made it much more comfortable and summer appropriate than a heavier formal gown. If you’re going for more casual materials while attending a wedding, make sure to dress up your look with sleek hair and makeup, and fun accessories to pop the look.
I kept this look tonal, with these insane ombre earrings by Rebecca De Ravenel (I’m obsessed!) and denim heels by Schutz. Whenever I wear statement earrings, I always make sure to pull my hair back into a tight bun or ponytail – you want to let the earrings be attention grabbers, and a wedding is the perfect time to experiment with conversation starter pieces like this. I loved twirling around on the dance floor in this look!
