Easy Dresses For Summer Sightseeing

Summer is coming to a close in just 6 short weeks, but chances are you still might have a fun getaway planned. In LA the warm weather lingers straight through the first few months of Fall, which makes you feel like it’s always a good time for a roadtrip or weekend getaway. It’s certainly been a warm Summer this year – even in England when we were back visiting. We made a little daytrip from my parents’ house in Surrey to the gorgeous Blenheim Palace near Oxford. It was a super warm day, and we spent it strolling the beautiful gardens and taking in the scenery.

This lightweight cotton dress was perfectly comfy and breezy for a day of sightseeing in the sun, so much so that I plan to take it with us when we go to Italy in a few weeks. When you’re walking around all day you probably don’t want to wear something that is very clingy or heavy. I like this particular dress because it looks stylish but is as comfy as pajamas! When styled with cute sandals it’s a practical look for touring around that will still look great when you inevitably stop to snap some pics. Shop some of my favorite lightweight dresses that are perfect for the last of your Summer getaways, below.

  • Lead, arsenic, pesticides... NOT things you'd want to feed your baby, right? Then you might be surprised to find out that many popular packaged baby foods contain these chemicals. I was absolutely shocked when I learned this myself!
