I don’t wear jumpsuits very often, but when I find a good one I can’t resist. They make getting dressed so much easier than when you’re dealing with separates – they’re basically an outfit all in one! I was going for a more comfy casual vibe with this look for running to lunch, but the flirty lace details got me thinking about how to styling a jumpsuit from day to night. This lace jumpsuit is actually by Rosie Huntington-Whiteley for Autograph, and it’s a very sexy night-out type jumpsuit that I revamped into a more daytime appropriate vibe by adding a casual cardigan and metallic oxfords.
Styling tip: there are always new ways to repurpose your clothes. I took the waist tie off of this jumpsuit and used it as a choker! The tie felt a little unnecessary to me anyways with the elastic waistband, and I’ve been obsessing over the choker look these days. What’s great about a staple jumpsuit like this is that you can easily add a pair of killer heels and a clutch, and boom! You’re date night ready.

I like the idea of wearing jumpsuits in a casual and sexy way. But then I’ve always trouble with the question of the length. With heels I need the jumpsuit to be longer than with flats. How do you deal with this problem?
