When you work in an office, your work attire can tend to get a little repetitive, especially if your company requires a dress code. It can be easy getting in the habit of wearing the same things over and over again. I’m all about using your creativity to update your wardrobe and your style, even if your office setting doesn’t exactly inspire you! Add a pop of unexpected color, a little leather, or some sparkle with layered accessories – there’s always something you can do to spice things up and be ready for those Friday night drinks.
Friday is usually the day I dress up more for meetings, because I’m usually heading straight out for dinner or drinks afterwards. Instead of going for your black pants and blouse option, make ‘Casual Friday’ fun by sporting a pair of cool leather leggings and a sweater. You guys know that I’m a huge fan of leather leggings – they’re one of my top wardrobe staples. Even better, add a statement bag and heels to really give your look some edge. I picked these booties from Joie because they match the maroon of my leggings, and the pop of burgundy on my bag pulls all those colors together. Not only will you be workplace appropriate, but you’ll be ready for Friday night happy hour too!
