Wearing all black is a trusty way to get dressed in the morning. If you’re feeling stumped on what to wear, you can always throw on a black tee, black jeans and leather jacket before you jet out the door. But the important thing to remember when wearing black, is to make sure there’s a variety of contrasting texture, and a pop of color somewhere in your accessories.
I styled my new favorite mohair sweater with these loose-fit leather pants and boots, but added a camel brown hat and purse to add some contrast to my look. This color combination is simple but (I think!) sophisticated. Mohair is a fun alternative to cashmere or cable-knit, and I love pairing it with leather for a modern, luxurious feel.
