Thigh-high boots are my everything this fall, they’re such a fun, sexy statement piece that can be worn low-key casual, or super 70’s glam. I hardly took my Stuart Weitzman ALLLEGS boots during New York fashion week!
Don’t be intimidated by the height of the boot (and I mean the fabric, not the heel) – the higher the better! Wear with skinny jeans, leather pants, a miniskirt, or a longer pencil skirt with a slit. In my opinion, a little retro miniskirt is the cutest option: the boots give you coverage with just enough of a peek-a-boo at your mid thigh.
And that’s what I went for, a 70’s boho vibe that was also all over the runways this fashion week! A pop of red, and a fine print pattern paired with neutral colors like brown, taupe and camel look best. Opt for natural fabrics like suede and leather – and steer clear of patent unless you’re channeling Pretty Woman vibes!
When finding the right boots for you, don’t do the whole “they aren’t comfortable, but they’re cute” method. Find a pair that fits you well, especially since they’ll be covering the majority of your leg. Thankfully Stuart Weitzman has a boot customization program where you can get the perfect pair tailored to you (click here to learn more). You want to be the girl running from meetings and cabs to drinks and dates in these boots, make sure they’re comfy!
