I love trying out new makeup looks, but there are always certain looks and brands that I go back to time and time again. After so many years of working with makeup, I know what I like and what works best on my skin. I like makeup that is hydrating but lightweight, with some warmth and glow to it. A strong brow and an eye that pops, plus voluptuous lashes and a nude lip? I’d say that’s probably my signature combo right there! I wanted to update this classic look for Fall, so I switched out my usual black smokey eye for a warm rose gold shadow, and picked skin products that have some shimmer to them. The best part? This look is universally flattering on everyone, and perfect from day to night. I got all these goodies from Nordstrom, which is my favorite place for shopping beauty must-haves this season. Read below for how to achieve this easy look!
Prime & Highlight
Sometimes I love going for a really fresh-faced look with minimal coverage. Lately I’ve been starting my makeup routine with Charlotte Tilbury’s Wonder Glow. It acts like a primer, serum and lightweight foundation all in one – and not only gets my skin ready for more makeup but adds a gorgeous glow.
MAC Strobe Cream has always been one of my secret weapons, and this season I’m trying the ‘Pinklite’ color. Once you have your primer set, dab a bit of strobe cream on your cheekbones, nose, forehead and chin to add some highlight. I always get compliments on my skin when I do this.
Conceal
After letting my primer absorb (and foundation if I’m using it), I cover my under my eyes and any blemishes with Estée Lauder’s Double Wear wand concealer to brighten and hide any issues. I finish up my skin by generously adding MAC’s mineralize skinfinish all over, which acts as a setting powder, bronzer and blush.
Eyes
This is the easiest eye makeup ever! Simply cover the whole lid with shadow (I love this sparkly one by Bobbi Brown), and top it off with va-va-voom mascara.
Brows
You guys know I love a strong brow, and this multitasking pencil has it all. Define your brows with the pencil side, then fill them in with the powder to set.
Lips
You can never go wrong with a nude lip when you find the perfect shade. This one by Charlotte Tilbury makes your lips look plump and gorgeous, and lasts all day.
