When it comes to choosing a color to make your outfit “pop”, red is almost always my go-to choice. Whether it’s in the form of a sultry lipstick, some head-turning shoes, or even a sweater – it’s a sure-fire way to make a statement. Red is classic throughout the years and seasons, being just as chic in Summer as it is in Fall and Winter. This season in particular, I’m trying my hand at the bold red trend with this oh-so cozy oversized knit and bold lips.
The heat wave in LA won’t stop me from wearing this chunky turtleneck from & Other Stories. It feels like such a festive weekend after Thanksgiving – the holidays are upon us, and snuggling up in sweaters just feels right. A bold red sweater is such an upgrade from your regular black or grey because it’s so eye-catching. I was feeling rather like getting dressed up this day, so I paired my look with some va-va-voom over the knee boots. I’m also wearing a rouge lip, just to add a little bit more of a statement, because – why not? I’m all about a bold monochrome look.
