A couple of weeks ago, Mackenzie and I set off to Buckinghamshire with a truck full of Sharland England pieces, from some new collections that will be launching soon, to the new rattan outdoor furniture collection.
Whenever we plan an outdoor campaign, we cross our fingers and hope for sunshine. BUT, the weather had other ideas… not a single ray of sun broke through the clouds during the twenty‑four hours we had to shoot.
So we did what you do when the day doesn’t cooperate: we pivoted, fast. We found our way indoors to Hartwell House, an incredible 17th-century stately home with a history I couldn’t have scripted better myself (an exiled French king once held court there). And honestly? It turned into one of my favorite shoots we’ve done. Every room is a masterclass in pattern and texture, exactly the mood I’d been chasing for this campaign.
