Ah, winter. A time of cosy jumpers, cashmere socks and…winter dresses that keep you warm while oozing style.
I am a fan of floral prints all year round and I am a long-sleeved, maxi-dress girl though I think that nothing says winter-chic better than a knit dress, a pair of croc-embossed leather boots and some gold jewellery.
But if I need a winter cocktail or evening dress, then a velvet mini dress (with airy balloon sleeves for a dramatic touch), tights, a pair of platform heels and of course, sparkly statement earrings are what I am going for.
And while you can never go wrong with dark colours in winter, I do love to experiment with vibrant colours as well – think mustard yellow, burnt orange, or a deep forest green.
