An Autumn Table

Did I mention I love tablescaping? One of the reasons I love a change of season so much is because it means a whole new palette on the table (as well as in my wardrobe of course.) This was also my first proper table top in the new house so it was double the fun.

There’s quite a warm feel to this table- although it’s an autumn table, I’ve used some sunny colours. My tablecloth is from Polkra and it’s the Mirabilia Sunlight Tablecloth from their collaboration with Anna Glover. I love the colours on it, it reminds me of my favourite childhood books for some reason! Carrying on the yellow theme is my striped oval dish from Popolo who have plates, bowls and dishes in candy coloured stripes.

I’ve been collecting candlesticks- vintage stalls and markets are always a good place to find them- but my current favourite are these Honoria green glass candlesticks by Host Home…I obviously like the name of them. The plates are Carolina Irving & Daughters; the Tulip pattern is very pretty but it’s so hard to choose! The napkins are Rebecca Udall; I don’t think theres anything more befitting of Autumn than chocolate brown gingham ruffle linen napkins.  Apart from a small pumpkin maybe? Honor and I went and chose these specifically for the table; we added some yellow and green gourds too.

To create an autumn table for an entertaining weekend (or any weekend) shop some of my finds here and get creative.

Louise Loves
