Pregnancy Beauty Brands

I’ve never been more careful about what I put on my skin than I am now. I’m much more familiar with the brands that are pregnancy friendly and some are baby friendly too. Lots of my followers have asked about what I’ve been using on my body and face while pregnant so here are my top pregnancy beauty brands. I use a lot of them when I’m not pregnant as well as they’re all clean brands, good for all skin types and long lasting.

Pai Skincare

SO good for sensitive skin, I found this brand a while back and have used it religiously. Certified organic, everything smells delicious, it’s not nearly as expensive as other brands AND I love their branding. It was started by Sarah Brown who found that everything marketed for sensitive skin was full of irritants and all the Pai products are patch tested to make sure they’re hypoallergenic.  They have a special stretch mark oil which I’ve been using on the bump. Here are some of my faves:

Rosental

I talk about these guys a lot on my stories and one of things I found recently is their Rose Mist. It’s ideal for when you’re nursing at night and need to be awake but not fully awake- this one is going by my bed and smells wonderful. I’ve also used their Jade Princess face roller for a while now. I keep it in the fridge and it’s a really good wake up for tired eyes.

Kayo

Founded by my friend and super mum Christine Bullock, Kayo is a body care and beauty wellness brand that I’m obsessed with. Their Body Beauty Cream is a bestseller; free of all the nasties and packed with antioxidants. There are some Stress Support and Daily Defence supplements so you can manage your skincare needs with what your body needs too.

Mutha

A brand all about self care, Mutha’s award winning products are super luxurious. I love their
Body Butter but they also have an amazing Up All Night Eye Cream which is a lifesaver…and won an award too.

Kosas

Kosas is ‘makeup for skincare freaks’ which I love. It’s all clean and it means that if you’re taking care of your skin, your makeup will help and not hinder it. There’s something called Kosas Tryouts where you can get sample shades delivered to you so you know you’re then ordering the right one. Definitely worth it for clean makeup- I really like their Cloud Set Baked Setting & Smoothing powder pots.

Kate Somerville

You may have seen me talk about Kate Somerville’s Goat Milk Cleanser recently. I used to go to her spa when we lived in LA and her facials were amazing.  It’s one of the things I’ve used the most during pregnancy as it’s so good for sensitive skin.

Cult Beauty Cult Conscious

Cult Beauty, the well known home of all the best beauty brands has an edit of products called Cult Conscious. REN, Sunday Riley and Farmacy are some of brands included in this roundup of who has laid their production bare with checkable promises. If you’re new to the idea of clean, green beauty or want to add to your collection of tried and tested brands then this edit is a good place to start.

What brands do you like for their green and clean quality? Mummies to be, please check with your doctors before trying anything new!

xx,

Louise Loves
