I think it is fairly safe to say that everyone has enjoyed a bit of loungewear time. We may not necessarily be grabbing our normal work attire during the week but as I mentioned in my working from home post, it’s important not to spend all day in pyjamas. I’ve been getting my dresses out on sunny days and making an effort with my hair and makeup so that come the weekend, I’m firmly in the casual camp. We’re often out on walks and exploring over a weekend which is why loungewear, sports clothes and comfy pieces have been so useful of late. An at-home uniform gives us a chance to be cozy and chic all at once. Shop below for all the loungewear that I’m weekending in.
I absolutely love leggings and a jumper. It allows me to stay comfy whilst still looking and feeling prepared and ready to take on the day. I can juggle house renovations with work; running around after Honor and squeezing in a quick workout all without a drastic change of clothes. Leggings, comfy tee, sweatshirt, trainers= done. I like pairing matching colours but neutrals are my palette of choice for casual clothes as I can mix and match them and they go with everything. That being said, striped leggings or a cute animal print or colourful sweatshirt can really be fun, especially as we move into the summer months. It’s easy for Honor and I to twin (which I love doing) and so many of my go-to brands have really good relaxed fit pieces or loungewear collections, making it easier than ever to find what I’m looking for.
I do love a party and Saturday nights often see me break out my beloved shoe collection but at the moment, after a busy week of planning and shooting pictures and Zoom meetings, I love nothing more than curling up with a book, in front of the fire with my family and for that…it’s slippers that I reach for. Shop the loungewear I’m weekending in below.
