Spring is officially in full swing, and as the flowers begin to bloom outside, so they should in your wardrobe! While florals for spring isn’t quite ‘groundbreaking’ as Miranda Priestly would say, there are so many new ways reinvent them this season, the look feels completely fresh and new. You guys know how proud of my English heritage I am, and with a royal baby just having just been born, and a royal wedding just around the corner – we’ve all been feeling rather patriotic. Uniqlo has done a gorgeous collaboration with Studio Sanderson, inspired by the interiors of Buckingham Palace: graphic tees and dresses, all printed with chintzy garden floral prints that are just so perfect for Spring.
I love this delicately embroidered tee, which reminds me of traditional wallpaper in the UK (I even used something similar in Honor’s nursery). It’s an understated way to bring some florals into your look this season, without going full-flora from head to toe. I layered it with this navy linen jacket and mustard trousers. Sometimes just a little hint of floral is enough to bring this springtime trend into your wardrobe, and pairing it with bold, contrasting colors like these can be an unexpected twist. Plus, as the weather continues to be a bit unpredictable at the beginning of the season, it’s nice to have options for layering that can be added or removed throughout the day. Shop my look below!
