As many of you may know, we just welcomed our daughter Honor to the world last week (follow me on Insta to see the journey)! While things will slow down a bit here on Front Roe for a few weeks while I take maternity leave, you can still look forward to a few fashion, beauty and lifestyle pieces that we shot prior to her arrival – including this look, which is making me miss my bump already! We’ve all heard the saying “no white after Labor Day”, but breaking the rules when it comes to fashion isn’t necessarily the worst thing. In fact, it can set you apart from the crowd in a stylish way. While this time of year is usually known for much darker tones – I love incorporating bright white in to my Winter wardrobe. Read on to see how I suit up for the season with this crisp white blazer.
LA doesn’t usually provide traditional winter weather, so I love integrating unexpected items into my winter outfit arsenal that take advantage of this fact – like a leg-baring midi skirt or lightweight blazer – things you could definitely not get away with in London at this time of year. For this look, I went for white pieces on top, paired with one of my all-time favorite colors for winter: emerald green. I’m obsessed with the recent resurgence of oversized blazers too. This blazer by Theory is so sharply tailored, and I love how versatile it is for any season (think high-waisted jeans and flat sandals for Summer). The leather skirt adds to the polished feel of the look, which ends up being great for anything from a business meeting, to a dinner date. My styling tip? Make this prim and proper look a touch sexier by wearing a sultry, smokey eye, and statement earrings.
