Monochrome Not Monotone: How to Rock A Single Color for 2018

You guys know I’m no stranger to the monochrome look. I’ve worn an all white outfit for Summer (here), and even a head to toe camel look for Fall (here). I love the way that a single color can make for such a dynamic outfit by mixing various fabrics and materials, and experimenting with silhouettes. This winter is all about deep, rich colors like mustard, navy blue, and olive green. Seriously you guys, this color looks beautiful on every skin tone! Check out how I rocked this monochrome olive outfit for an event recently.

Turtlenecks are one of my go-to wardrobe items in the colder months, I have one in just about every color. They’re practical, comfy, and timeless through every season and trend. I paired this turtleneck with a leather skirt of a similar shade. I love how the classic knit looks against the contrasting texture of the skirt. I warmed up the look with gold accents from my clutch and my earrings, and last minute, switched out slides for these killer red pumps.

Hi, just wanted to say I really enjoy what you share, I’m only 17 (almost 18, though) and I’ve been following you since I first saw Plane Jane. I finally got your book this christmas, and I’m loving it.
I’m so happy for you and your new family, I really wish you all the best.
Also! I’m from Barcelona, so you get to say you inspire people across the ocean and the world.
