Can you guys believe it’s already the middle of October? There are only a few short months until winter, and that means I’m over halfway done with my pregnancy! It’s so crazy to think about how soon Baby Hunkin will be here. In the meantime, I’m enjoying the milder LA mornings and evenings, not to mention enjoying these last few weeks of wearing some of my favorite clothes. You guys know how much I love slip dresses, and I’m so pleased that this one is still so comfortable. See how I styled this same one in a dressy way, here. It just goes to show you what an investment piece a good slip dress is – I’m convinced that they’re perfect for any occasion.
LA is still quite hot during midday at the moment, but it’s just starting to turn into layering weather – meaning I usually need a sweater in the early hours, but have to chuck it by lunch. I’m loving this cozy uniform right now – a sweater over a slip dress is a failsafe combo in my opinion, especially when I need a versatile look for the rapidly changing temperatures throughout the day. Paired with some slouchy suede boots, this dress looks equally chic with the sweater worn over it, or without!
