I’m still in the Big Apple this week, and I’m absolutely loving it. I’m so grateful that I get to travel here several times a year for work – I can practically call NYC my second home. Whenever we’re here, I love to visit Carrie Bradshaw’s apartment on Perry Street (make sure to check out my pics on Instagram), and Mackenzie likes to joke that walking around the city with me is like having your own Sex And The City tour guide. What can I say, I love all the history of this city, from fashion to 90s TV shows!
Something about this city always makes me want to dress up, even if it’s just for running to brunch or errands. The women in New York are so glamorous, and I love channeling my inner Carrie. Did you ever not see her dressed up to the nines when she was walking about? I haven’t mastered Carrie’s ability to walk around town all day in sky-high heels, but I went for my own dressed-up casual vibe today with a chic off-shoulder blouse and nice jogger trousers. To keep the look walking-friendly but still glamorous, I went for metallic knot slides. I love these ones because they’re comfortable but perfect from transitioning from day to night. I explored the city all day in this look, then it’s off to dinner in the West Village for pasta!
