So it’s not exactly an accessory, but Stella Artois’ limited edition chalice sure is pretty, and the best part is that through buying one you can help empower women in the developing world. Through Stella Artois and Water.org’s ‘Buy A Lady A Drink’ program, only $6.25 provides 5 years of clean drinking water to 1 person in the developing world. I was honored to collaborate with them and the Rachel Zoe team on creating a video to raise awareness, where I actually learned so much about the world’s water crisis.
While I take my fashion very seriously, I love when I have the opportunity to combine my work with a good cause. Did you know that millions of people around the world don’t have access to clean drinking water, and that the problem disproportionately affects women? Women spend millions of combined hours per day gathering water for their families, which negatively affects them and their community’s lives. By donating or buying the Stella Artois chalice, we can help to solve this worldwide problem. Rachel Zoe’s Box Of Style that goes out every season will contain the chalice this year as part of its cute offering – how fab is that? It was so fun and inspiring to work with them, and for the shoot I wore one of my favorite trends of the moment: a slip dress over a sweater.
To switch gears into fashion, I need to obsess over slip dresses for a moment. If you don’t already have one, get one stat – both in black and a neutral color like this one. You’ll wear it all Spring and Summer long with no sweater underneath, but in fall and late winter you can layer one like I’ve done here (though it’s technically Spring, it’s still been very chilly here in LA!). I love this look, and I’m convinced it looks great on everyone. Learn more about the ‘Buy A Lady A Drink’ program here!
