How To Get Dressed in 5 Minutes Flat

Let’s face it – it’s the holidays, and you simply do not have time to waste on getting ready for hours. Like many women, I often somehow end up feeling like I have a closet full of clothes and “nothing to wear”. Being stumped on what to put on your back in the morning (especially when you’re flying out the door to work or another important engagement), can be a really stressful start to your day. Try this quick black and white outfit formula for getting ready in 5 minutes flat!

The best part about this look is that many women already have these key pieces in their wardrobe (and if you don’t, it is so worth it to invest in them). A leather jacket, white boyfriend tee, dressy trackpants and loafers – all in simple black and white. The look is both a little oversized and tailored at the same time, making it almost Parisian with its understated cool vibes. If you have these items you can whip up a cool outfit in literally 5 minutes!

This uniform is particularly handy if your workplace is casual, but to dress it up you can replace the tee with a crisp white shirt, and the trackpants with tailored trousers. And if you don’t already own a must-have pair of loafers – run, don’t walk to buy a pair ASAP. They are a lifesaver in getting dressed in a hurry, both for casual and dressy occasions. They make even the simplest jeans and tee look like a million bucks. I love my Gucci pair, but these crazy affordable ones are super cute too!
