I’m just about to leave to England for the holidays, so I’ve been running around like a crazy person in preparation. Shopping for gifts, packing, and finishing up tons of work projects all have me rushing about all day long. Sometimes I feel like I live with my head in my phone, answering urgent emails and even taking work calls in my car while driving!
I recently started wearing a watch again, to give me one small reason not to grab my phone. I can quickly check what time it is without getting sucked into all my notifications, plus, a chic watch feels like such an elegant, grown-up fashion statement. Especially one like this black and gold watch from the Movado Ultra Slim collection.
I love the leather band and all-black face of this watch – it gives it a bit of a tailored, slick vibe, with a touch of gold girly glam. The band reminds me a little of the watches that my dad and grandad used to wear, but with modern finishes.
