While summer is my favorite time of year for traveling, Fall is definitely my favorite for fashion. Sometimes in the summer when it’s so hot in LA, you can barely stand to wear more than a dress and sandals, but in the fall you can have so much fun by layering multiple pieces. The second fall begins to roll around, I love to start pairing my outfits with ankle booties. They’re the perfect way to completely transform a transitional look into a fall-appropriate outfit in 2 seconds flat. It’s that time of year in LA when I can still wear a lightweight silk cami dress, but throw on a bomber jacket and some fall colored ankle booties, and bam! Goodbye summer.
I’m always a huge fan of Stuart Weitzman over-the-knee boots during fall and winter (I have them in about 3 different colors), but this year I’m trying out their new ankle bootie style, the GRANDIOSE. I just love this rich Bordeaux color for fall – it looks gorgeous with just about any color and is perfect for casual and dressy occasions.
