Hello Fall! How To Style Transitional Layers

New York Fashion week is in full swing, and I’m just loving it this year. There’s a buzz in the air and it feels like we’re getting a peek into a beautiful fashion future, previewing all the trends. NYFW is always a hectic time for me, and you never know what the weather is going to be like in New York during this time of year. I always make sure to pack tons of layering options, and I’m obsessed with all these new pieces from Maje. Their FW16 new collection is full of rich colors and light transitional layers that are just perfect for moving into fall, without being decked out head-to-toe in cold weather items. You guys also know that I love a good pair of white sneakers, and these ones are too much fun (they have a chunky sole and plush fur on the inside, so they’re like a fall/winter version of my favorite casual shoe).

I love that these pieces are clean and minimal, but the touches of burgundy, mustard and camel really make the look feel rich and warm. If the weather ends up being on the warmer side, I can take off the coat and be perfectly late-summer appropriate. Shop my look below!
