I’m big on fragrances, and while I always love discovering new ones I have a few in my arsenal that are my go-to scents. There’s something about a perfume bottle that is so nostalgic for me (it is the strongest form of memory afterall), and I just love that the fragrances women wear are often passed down from their mothers or grandmothers. Scent is so personal; a subtle way to express your style, and even change your mood. I like to change mine with the seasons – I thought I would round up a few of my summer favorites – Shop my picks below!
Chloé Eau de Parfum: This is one of my all-time favorite perfumes – it’s girly while still being strong and fresh, just perfect for topping off a cute outfit. I always feel sharp and pulled-together when I throw this one on. It has notes of some of my favorite flowers (peonies & freesia) with stronger notes of cedarwood and amber to keep things balanced.
Marc Jacobs Rain: I just discovered this scent recently, and it screams summer to me. It’s extra light and crisp, with hints of citrus, forest and flowers. Perfect on your way to the beach!
Le Labo Rose 31: This fragrance is the perfect balance of masculine and feminine notes (and is actually made for both men and women). I happen to think that it’s super sexy and empowering for a woman to wear a more masculine fragrance (even cologne!), so I love the balance of rose and cedarwood in this scent. It’s also great for year-round.
Bottega Veneta Eau de Parfum: This scent also has a touch of masculinity to it, with hints of jasmine and leather, which is a signature of the brand. Totally timeless.
