Since I got engaged, I’ve been receiving so many questions from my readers and even my friends about all things bridal style. From the dress to the honeymoon, everyone is so interested to see what I’ve got planned in terms of fashion, many times for inspiration for their own weddings! We all want to feel gorgeous and in style, while keeping our looks classic – you want to be able to look back many years later and not regret poor style decisions surrounding one of the most important days of your life.
While I’m keeping my wedding dress tips a secret for now (all will be revealed soon, I promise!), my bridal shower and bachelorette parties are coming up this summer, so I’m thinking of ways to style it out for these events. It’s traditional for the bride to wear something white or ivory to her bridal shower, to get in the mood for the upcoming nuptials. While I love that idea, it can turn cheesy if not done right (save the veil for the big day, ladies!). Go for something a little more minimal and sleek, even a bit sexier to keep the look fresh. This jumpsuit is the perfect bridal shower option – appropriate for pics with the family, but fun enough to wear on a night out with your girls (I love this look for a Bachelorette party too, it says “bride” without being too Vegas!). I paired it with statement white and gold heels for a little pop, but kept the palette monochromatic. Try it with a bold red lip!
